fuck.
back at it again.
whatever.
i deserve some relief.
motherfuckers.
they all went along with it.
ungrateful sons of bitches.
why the Mutiny?
we always had clean water,
only two members ever got
the Sickness.
and they were delt with.
fuck ‘em all.
they’ll pay.
better fucking believe they’ll pay
a 28.
shit.
i’m not alone
a whole group of them.
must be hunting.
what is there even left to hunt?
or are they after me?
no, I’m just parinoid.
they wouldn’t be shooting
if they were after me.
what if they are though?

Nice. Actually has a good voiceover/cinematic feel. Leaves me with a lot of questions, which I’m interested in seeing how they might be answered down the road.
Though looking back over it now, I’m trying to figure out what’s holding up the rifle in the first frame. Might just be too small for my bad eyes. Second thought: Frame 3, left (his, not mine) arm looks a little awkward. and should the palm be flipped outward for the taking of drugs via hypodermic needle?
Really love the last frame. I want to say it’s a little more finished feel. But I can almost feel the motion as he leans over to look, snatching up his weapon.
Also, the language has a nice paranoid internal monologueness to it. Also reminds me of Bjorn.
Should have been Frame 2, not 3.
@Chadwick. Chad as always you have a keen eye. These drawn “flaws” are exactly some of the issues that I was hoping to address in the finalfinal drawings.
In the first frame the gun was supposed to be leaning up against his pack, but I will probably change it so its up against the tree.
On the second one I was trying to draw the hand so it drooped down (knuckles facing viewer) but alas I got a little excited with value and it messed up the form.
As always, wow. I love the first and last frame. Your art has come so far. I really like the lines in the last frame, the way the gun is out to the left and the way his leg comes at the viewer.
Looking pretty awesome! The arm he’s injecting looks a little unclear though, not sure what side is up or down. I particularly like the bullet-ridden tree.
